Jeff is a shy kid, one who you wouldn’t think twice about. Jeff always had trouble making friends because of his social anxiety and introverted feelings toward people. There were always people who thought he was weird and so they picked on him, they picked on him every day to the point where he was always armed with a knife.
Because of his social anxiety he would always walk home alone, this would make him a clear victim to those who picked on him. So one particular day he was walking home after school on a pretty dark night, no one was around and so he was a little scared. A know bully of Jeff was suddenly behind him, he shouted his name in a very aggressive manner.
The bully started antagonizing Jeff, calling him names and demanding money from him. After sheepishly telling him “no” the bully pulled a knife on Jeff. He asked him once again. An impeding silence occurred between them both. At this moment something snapped in Jeff, he swiftly punched the bully, knocking him to the ground. He grabbed the knife and stabbed him, continuously until blood ran across the floor of the street. He finished, put the knife in his pocket and left to go back home.
Jeff was permanently changed at that moment, he went home and sat on his bed, playing with the knife in his hands for hours and hours. Smiling all the time. It was only after this that his sister came home and went straight to her room like she usually does, not even seeing him, saying a word to him. Not checking he isn’t insane.
Jeff wanted to stay smiling, he wanted to always see himself smiling, but he would eventually fall asleep. So he did the only thing he could think of. He carved a smile in his face, and cut out his eyelids. He was so happy with himself that he went to show his sister, he wanted to show her how happy he was and maybe she would be happy. He went into her room and upon seeing him she screamed. She was so scared she fell onto her bed behind her.
Jeff was angry that she wasn’t happy, he wanted her to happy with him. So he thought that she may aswell go to sleep if she didn’t want to be happy, so he kills her like he did the bully, he made sure she went to sleep.
Finally he leaves the house in search for people to ‘make happy’.
Jeff the Killer: Plot
Banshee: Plot
Jake Goodall is a regular guy with regular hobbies, he works long and hard for a good life with friends and family, though for the past few weeks he has been having nightmares about one thing. A dark figure with stringy grey hairs leering at him in the darkness of an empty field, but he doesn’t think much of it. Upon coming home late from work one night he checks his messages only to be told that a distant uncle of his had died, after getting in touch with his parents he decides to go to sleep. It’s at this night that he doesn’t dream of the dark figure. He lives it. Almost as soon as he falls asleep he is encountered with the figure wide eyed and wide mouthed, screeching a wretched sound not in his dreams but in his room. He doesn’t sleep this night as he fears that it will come back.
The next day he decides to talk to his friend about the dreams and the encounter he had had the previous night. Baffled his friend doesn’t know what to say other than to take some sleeping pills and try not to think about it, he says that Jake is probably just too tired.
After hesitantly taking his advice Jake tried again to fall asleep only to have the same thing happen to him except it happens for longer. This goes on for a whole week leaving Jake in a sleep deprived and paranoid state, he scourers the web for information on the creature that is keeping him awake and comes up with some information, that it’s a curse that’s passed on from family members once they die. There is no way to get rid of it. And that those who have it will live with it for the rest of their lives or they will kill themselves.
After reading this he takes a gun from a drawer.
He sits there for a moment thinking about the decision he has to make when he suddenly hears the screech of the Banshee when he puts the gun to his head and pulls the trigger.

Opening Scene

‘jake is walking to his house in the dark mostly in the street light.’
Cut to:
Int. jakes house – night
MS
‘jake enters his house, putting his keys to the side and walking up the stairs to his room.’
‘as he enters his room he presses the button on his phone check his voice mail.’
Voice mail assistant:
“You have 1 new message.”
Jakes father:
“Hey Jake, erm this is a little hard to say over the phone… but your uncle Peter died today of an overdose… apparently he took too many of his sleeping pills, when you get a chance please call.”

‘Jake picks up the phone and re-dials to speak to his dad’
Jake:
“Hey dad, I just got your message...”
pan to:
‘Jake is getting into bed’
ecu
‘jake dreams of an open field where a dark figure is standing in the distant field.’
‘jake suddenly falls to the ground’
‘the figure is slowly walking toward him’
‘Jake wakes up in the same position he fell in to the scream of the banshee that is also leaning over him.’
‘The banshee suddenly dissapears into the darkness’
cut Out:
Int. Jakes house – morning
‘Jake is sitting in his bed wide eyed and scared.’
‘Jake’s alarm goes off.’
Int. coffee break setting – mid day
‘Jake is talking to his friend liam about the experience he has been having with nightmares and the banshee last night.’
jake:
“I can’t explain it, its like it was in my dream and somehow it got out.”
Liam:
“Are you sure this isn’t because you’ve been working so hard? I mean you did get back from work last night, extremely late last night...”
jake:
“I don’t know, maybe… but this isn’t the first time that this has happened, well it is but I’ve had that dream a couple of times now.”
liam:
“Hmmm well it sounds to me like you just need to sleep. Go home early today and get some rest. You’ll feel better in the morning I promise”
CU
‘JAKE SITS AT THE TABLE WITH A STREN FACE.’
Cut To:
Int. Jakes house – evening/night
CU
‘Jake sits on the edge of his bed with a stern look on his face.’
‘Jake lies down onto his bed and starts to fall asleep.’
‘Flashes of the open field with the banshee in the middle flash in his mind. She appears closer with each of the flashes untill she is not there anymore.’
‘Jake is once again awoken by the banshee this time they are face to face.’
‘The banshee once again dissapears.’
Cut to:
Int. Jakes house – mid day
‘Liam is calling jake but only gets a voice mail asking where he’s been’
liam:
“Hey man, where have you been? It’s been a week since we last spoke and I’m getting worried about you… please call me to let me know you’re okay….”
‘Jake is sitting at his computer looking up “Dream demon” and comes across an article describing the banshee.’
‘after reading this he finds that there is no way of getting rid of it, and that the only solution is to kill themselvs to silence it.’
‘The music is building tension here.’
Cuts to:
‘jake opens a drawer to pick up a gun and sits down with it in his hands to contemplate the decision he has to make.’
‘Music peaks with tenstion here.’
‘jake puts the gun to his head, closes his eyes and sees the banshee and hears its screams, he immediately pulls the trigger.’
Cuts to black:
Roll end credits.

‘jeff is walking away from the tree on his way home’
‘jeff walks though a field of dead grass’

‘thug follows him down the tunnel’
Thug
“oi fam!”
‘jeff looks startled and turns around’
thug
“where you off to!?”.
…
“I said where you off to!?”
‘thug gets close to jeff and pulls a gun to his head’
‘thug starts to feel around for money in jeffs pockets’
thug
“what you got?.”
‘continues to aggrivate jeff and search for money’
thug
“are you deaf, are you even listening?”
‘jeff punches the thug in the face causing him to fall to the ground’
‘jeff picks up the gun and shoots the thug who feebily tries to shuffle away’
‘Jeff stands there as a creepy smile grows across his face and he lets his hair down and walks away to the distance’
**B-roll of blood and sunset
Fade to Black:
Int – Jeff – Night
‘Jeff enters his house and goes straight to his room where he sits motionless and with a creepy smile on his face for hours’
‘He finally gets up to the bathroom and cuts his mouth with a knife to form a chelsea smile’
‘He goes into his sisters room to show her’
Cut to:
int – jeff and alice – Night
‘The door creeps open as jeff appears with a knife at hand’
‘Alice screams at the sight of jeff’

“Do you like what ive done alice…
I used to never smile but now look at me, i do it all the time. Isnt this so wonderful!”
Alice
“Erm yeah jeff its… great.”
Jeff
“You… You don’t like it do you… don’t worry, I know what will make you smile...”
‘Jeff moves closer to alice as the door closes shut, alice screams in terror’
‘Loud breathing is heard’
‘Jeff is standing in front of the door with red and blue lights flashing in the windows’
‘jeff has blood from himself and alice all over him’
‘A close up to jeff’s face shows his real smile’
